Venerated by the Mayas, Incas and other indigenous people of Latin America, it serves as talisman to healers and shamans to ward off evil spirits during fumigation rituals bringing peace and serenity, uplifting the spirit, and alleviating negative energies.

With heavy notes of wood and smoke, there is also a bitterness and spice to the Palo Santo cordial that will make it popular all year round, but especially in the cooler seasons.
Directions
15-20 ml per serve for hot drinks, 10-25 ml for cocktails, 20-30 ml for frappes and milkshakes

• 25 ml Cognac
• 20 ml aged rum
• 15 ml tawny port
• 10 ml maraschino liqueur
• 3 dashes Angostura bitter
Stir, serve over ice in an old fashioned glass.
