Similar to Irish Cream, this light brown syrup holds rich hints of whisky, caramel and cream. MONIN Irish Syrup is perfect for non-alcoholic Irish Coffees, or creating a variety of after dinner drinks, both hot and cold.
This was developed as part of our ‘virgin flavour range’ to help create delicious non alcoholic alternatives without sacrificing flavour in beverages. The flavour profile is similar to that of the world famous Irish Coffee cocktail incorporating coffee, sugar, irish whiskey, topped with thick cream and nutmeg. MONIN Irish coffee syrup works well in coffees, frappes, cocktails and mocktails.
15-20 ml per serve for hot drinks, 10-25 ml for cocktails, 20-30 ml for frappes and milkshakes
20ml MONIN Irish syrup
40ml Irish whiskey
In an Irish coffee glass pour and steam together MONIN syrup and whiskey. Add two espressos. Shake cream without ice cubes and pour it gently on top of the glass with a spoon. Garnish with three coffee beans.
